THe fairies of Irish Folklore

As you will likely have noticed by this point, this website is broken up into two distinct parts. The first covers the background on folklore studies including the research methodology I used to compile the information for this website. The second part of this website covers the topic of Fairies themselves. For this particular research project I have relied heavily on scholarly work presented in various Folklore Journals. As I set out for research I had two separate questions presented that I wanted to answer. The first of these questions was what was the text of Irish Fairies? The second question I had was what was the context of Irish Fairies? While these research questions seem simple, the answers uncovered are anything but that. These two aspects of folklore will then combine to help present a full picture of Fairies in Irish Folklore, in essence, the conclusion of this research project.
